4 Day workshop
May 14th - May 18th
Zambia, Central Province
Participants will go through a 4 day film bootcamp of which they will learn technical skills and workflows in pre-production, set protocol and post production. Best Practices from the Australian and American Industry will be used. An emphasis on collaboration and role specialisation will be taken. Perspectives on facilitation of film workshops will also be touched on. Graduates will receive a certificate on completion.
Cost : $0. Donations accepted will cover Students Costs, Workshop Facilitation and Food and Accomodation.
Workshops will be 30% theoretical and 70% physical practice with an outcome of a finished short film.
Modules include :
Directing (including Assistant Direction)
Camera and Lighting
Editing (including Colour Grading)
Monetising Film Making
Film workshop facilitation
Accomodation and Meals provided for. Students will be informed of things to bring for their stay such as bedding and toiletries.
*Graduates from this workshop will be automatic candidates for facilitation roles in future Zambian workshops run by The Film Project.
